Between 6 and 16

Exceptions to Attendance Requirements
Accredited nonpublic school, private college preparatory school or competent private instruction; completed requirements for graduation from accredited school or GED; sufficient reason by court of record or judge; while attending religious services or receiving religious instruction; physical/mental conditions do not permit attendance

Penalties on Parents for Noncompliance
School officers will use means available to school; if persists, referred to county attorney for mediation or prosecution; violations of agreement (mediation): 1st offense: up to 10 days jail or up to $100 fine or 40 hours of community service; 2nd offens
